Forever Fosse is an original concert celebrating the music and choreographic influence of Bob Fosse. All choreography is newly created for this production by Erin Newton, who is an award winning choreographer in this style. The choreography in Forever Fosse is inspired by, but does not reproduce, the original choreography of Bob Fosse. Licensing to use the music has been arranged through entandem licensing. Selections from Chicago, Cabaret, The Pajama Game, Pippin’, and Fosse will be creatively incorporated into a stunning final concert.

Forever Fosse is the culminating showcase for actors in the Elite Performance Company. It will be performed in January at the Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre studio theatre. The performance company is a training program for which there is an associated fee.  Please read the details in the application form carefully.

This program is directed and choreographed by Erin Newton, an award-winning teacher, choreographer, and artist. Performers in this production will be learning fast, dancing hard, while broadening their dance and vocal skills.

Rehearsals will take place Wednesdays 5:00 - 7:00 pm and Sundays 4:00 - 7:00 pm, starting September 9th. Mandatory tech rehearsals will take place at the Voortman studio theatre on Thursday, January 7th, 4:30-9:30 pm and Friday, January 8th, 4:30 - 9:30 pm. Evening and matinee performances will take place on Saturday, January 9th and Sunday, January 10th.
