PERFORMANCE COMPANIES

Our Junior, Teen, and Adult Performance Companies bring together dedicated actors and technicians who join us through a successful audition and casting process.

Each season, these ensembles present a variety of productions for audiences of all ages, contributing to the vibrant artistic life of Big Hearts Little Theatre.

Whether you’re an emerging performer, an experienced artist, or a technician eager to grow your skills, we invite you to stay connected. Follow us on Instagram and keep an eye on the Auditions page on our website for upcoming opportunities to join our creative family.

ARTS ENRICHMENT

FOR SCHOOLS

Big Hearts Little Theatre brings the arts to life for students across Ontario. Artistic Director and decorated Arts Educator, Erin Newton, designs experiential, curriculum-connected field trip opportunities that immerse students in drama, dance, and music through hands-on learning.

In addition to on-site workshops, she creates fully staged travelling shows, either brought directly to schools or hosted in community performance spaces—all intentionally aligned with Ontario Arts Curriculum expectations.

Every program is crafted to spark creativity, deepen understanding, and make the arts accessible, meaningful, and unforgettable for learners of all ages.

Our children’s theatre production of Munsch at Play by Robert Munsch performed to sold-out audiences of students. Our recent educational excursion, Stage Quest, also sold out to classes from the HWDSB, HWCDSB, and GEDSB. Our upcoming touring company performance and workshop of Drew Daywalt’s The Day the Crayons Quit: A Colourful Arts Experience is already nearing a sell-out and will engage audiences from Kindergarten through Grade 5.
