Setting:

It’s a dark and stormy night, and our cast of oddball characters has been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well, dead. So whodunit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up. Based on the cult classic film and the popular board game, Clue is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.

CLUE is presented with no intermission.

Jonathan Lynn created and wrote with Antony Jay the multi-award-winning series Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister. Lynn authored the best-selling books The Complete Yes Minister and The Complete Yes Prime Minister, which have sold millions of copies, have been translated into numerous languages and have never been out of print. Most recently, in London, he directed two of his plays, Yes, Prime Minister (Gielgud Theatre and then Apollo Theatre) and The Patriotic Traitor (Park Theatre).

Lynn’s West End theatre debut, aged 23, was as Motel the Tailor in the original London cast of Fiddler on the Roof. Erin Newton

Producer

Erin Newton (she/her)

Erin is the Founder and Artistic Director of Big Hearts Little Theatre and a lifelong performer, choreographer, director, and educator. She holds a BA in Theatre from McMaster University, a B.Ed. from Brock University, and professional certifications in dance, dramatic arts, and clown. Before retiring from 21 years of arts education with the HWDSB, Erin also owned and operated three successful dance studios. Her training has taken her from Hamilton to Toronto to New York City, but her heart remains firmly rooted in community theatre. For CLUE, Erin has taken on producing, sound, props, and costumes—because apparently running a theatre company wasn't quite enough. If anything goes missing backstage, she can assure you it was Colonel Mustard, in the library, with the candlestick.

Michael Hannigan

Director

Michael joined the Big Hearts family back in 2024, appearing in The (One-Act) Play That Goes Wrong, Little Shop of Horrors,Click/Bush/Train/Bug and The Day The Crayons Quit; as well as directing last season’s The Man From Earth. Previously, he served as Associate Director for the Tivoli Theatre, Citadel Hamilton, and the HUTA Summer Shakespeare Camp. He actively supports the Shakespeare-Oxford Fellowship, proudly adding his name to SAC’s Declaration of Reasonable Doubt.

Hey, the man does love a good mystery.

Tracy Hek

Stage Manager

Tracy Hek (she/her) is the prime suspect behind the scenes of Clue, stage managing and lending a hand with costumes. Fresh from her acting debut on stage as Cootes Paradise in Click Bush Train Bug, she's a longtime costumer for Big Hearts Little Theatre. By day, she works in tech. By night? She has an alibi.

The Cast

Alicia Moore as Yvette

Alicia Moore (she/her) is returning to her love of the stage as Yvette in Clue. Très magnifique!

Originally from Uxbridge, Alicia performed with Seventh Star Productions in her hometown, as well as in Port Perry and Peterborough. Memorable roles include the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz, Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Juliet in Romeo & Juliet. By day, Alicia works as a Producer/Production Manager in children’s animation. Outside of theatre, she enjoys collecting records, hunting for mid-century modern gems, and crafting cocktails at home. Merci beaucoup to the absolutely incredible cast and crew!

Martin Montgomery as Wadsworth

Martin Montgomery (he/him) is still dipping his toes into the world of theatre, but after his first production, The Girl in the Goldfish Bowl (Lawrence), he was hooked! Since then, his credits have included Buying the Moose (Rob, Binbrook Little Theatre) and The Sound of Music (Franz, Ancaster Theatre Mainstage). In his other life, Martin juggles several ongoing roles: astute and charismatic financial advisor with a winning smile, gym rat, perfect husband, and devoted father of four adult children. He is thoroughly enjoying sinking his teeth into the role of Wadsworth and is incredibly grateful for the amazing cast and crew. A special thank-you to his love, Janice, for supporting him through it all. Enjoy the show! IT’S FUNNY… precisely!

Ashley Swerdon as Cook/Cop

Ashley Swerdon (she/her) is thrilled to be joining this incredible cast as the Cook in Clue.  She has dabbled in various roles in community theatre, both on stage and behind the scenes.  She has helped with stage managing, lighting/sound operation, and social media advertising for Theatre Burlington and Big Hearts, and has had the absolute joy of performing for children in family/holiday shows at Theatre Burlington.  This is a hilarious production, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed watching it come together.

David MacKay as Colonel Mustard

David MacKay (he/him) is delighted (and only mildly suspicious) to join Big Hearts Little Theatre’s production of CLUE! His recent stage credits include Hello, Dolly! (Cornelius, 2026), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Phoebus, 2025), and Evil Dead: The Musical (Jake, 2023 & 2024), a role that involved considerably more fake blood than any performer should reasonably endure. Equally at home with musical comedy, romantic heroics, and theatrical carnage, David is thrilled to add a little murder and mayhem to his repertoire. As for Colonel Mustard’s innocence? He assures you he had absolutely nothing to do with the murder… probably.

Lina Giornofelice as Mrs. White

Lina (she/her) is thrilled to make her Big Hearts Little Theatre debut as Mrs. White, marking her return to the stage after more than 20 years away! Her extensive career spans theatre, television, and film productions across Canada and the United States. Career highlights include performing in the first all-Canadian production of The Who’s Tommy at Toronto’s Elgin Theatre, as well as appearances at the Stratford Festival in The Pirates of Penzance, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and Cyrano de Bergerac. Lena raises a glass to the wonderful cast and crew of CLUE and, most importantly, thanks her daughter Asia for being her greatest inspiration.

Maria Hayes as Mrs. Peacock

Maria Urquhart (she/her) - An Ancaster native, Maria is overjoyed to be onstage at this venue, in Big Hearts Little Theatre's production of Clue. Her introduction to theatre began in Ancaster, a few decades ago (ok... many) at Mount Mary Academy in a 1972 production of The Sound of Music, where she played the youngest Von Trapp. More recent credits include Marlafaye Mosely in The Savannah Sipping Society and Chelsea Thayer in On Golden Pond. Tonight she brings to life the role of Mrs. Peacock and is thrilled to share the stage with this wild bunch of characters including her son, Coryn.

Adyn Hek as Mr. Green

Adyn Hek (he/him) trades the stage manager's headset for a suspiciously green suit as Mr. Green. After running the show behind the scenes on Big Hearts Little Theatre's last production, he's thrilled to be back on stage. You may remember him from The One Act Play That Goes Wrong and Little Shop of Horrors. Did he do it? Keep your eyes on him.

Asad Faruqi as Professor Plum

Asad Faruqi (he/him) is relatively new to acting, and this is his second collaboration with Big Hearts Little Theatre. He previously appeared in a small role in The Man from Earth (2025) at The Staircase in Hamilton. A lifelong learner, movie buff, occasional writer, and stage enthusiast, Asad is excited for this play and grateful to Michael Hannigan and Erin Newton for this opportunity!

Claire Sears as Miss Scarlet

Claire Sears (she/her) is delighted to bring a little sass to the stage in CLUE! With over 20 years of theatrical experience, her favourite credits include Mary’s Wedding (Mary, Theatre Burlington), It’s a Wonderful Life (Mary, Theatre Bacchus), and Trojan Women (Helen of Troy, W.E.S.T.). Claire extends a special thank-you to Michael for this wonderfully wicked adventure and to her family for continuing to encourage her theatrical delusions!

Coryn Urquhart as Mr. Boddy

Coryn Urquhart (he/him) is thrilled to join Big Hearts Little Theatre for its production of CLUE! His previous stage credits include A Question of Justice (Brendan), The Catering Queen (Eric) at The Players’ Guild, and Boys’ Night (Mac) at The Staircase. Coryn is delighted to be part of this talented ensemble and looks forward to sharing the laughter, mystery, and mayhem of CLUE with audiences!

Knox McKinney as Chief/Motorist

Knox Mckinney (he/him) is so happy to be a part of Big Hearts Little Theatre’s production of CLUE! He has previously played pepper in Mamma Mia 2026 and Harry in Blood Relations 2025 (Glendale Arts) Currently, he is in Forever Fosse at Big Hearts Little Theatre. Knox is so excited to play the Motorist and Chief in CLUE!

Colton Hand as Chief/Motorist

Colton Hand (he/him) is delighted to make his Big Hearts Little Theatre debut in CLUE, bringing two memorable characters to the stage. His previous credits include Grease (Eugene) at St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School, where four years of dramatic arts studies have nurtured his confidence and passion for performance. Colton extends his sincere thanks to Mrs. Rideout, Mrs. Birtles, and Mrs. MacDonald for their mentorship, and to his family and friends for their unwavering support. He is thrilled to be part of this talented ensemble and hopes audiences enjoy every twist, turn, and laugh along the way!

Geoff Kerman as Detective

Geoffrey Kerman (he/him) is thrilled to make his Big Hearts Little Theatre debut in CLUE! His previous community theatre credits include The Full Monty, The Sound of Music, and radio adaptations of A Christmas Carol, Miracle on 34th Street, and Les Misérables. With experience spanning musical theatre and radio drama, Geoff is delighted to join this talented ensemble and bring a little mystery and mayhem to the stage!

Sophia Kozub as Telegram Girl

Sophia Kozub (she/her) is a Grade 12 student at Ancaster High School and an emerging multidisciplinary performer of Ukrainian descent. Making her BHLT debut as the Singing Telegram Girl, Sophia is thrilled to be part of CLUE! Passionate about performing, she also hopes to explore other aspects of the theatre industry.

Selected credits include Delia Schlimmer in Beetlejuice Jr. (20PA Academy), Jane Doe in Ride the Cyclone Jr. and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (Ancaster High School), and Juliet in Drop Dead Juliet (Theatre Aquarius).

Sophia extends heartfelt thanks to her parents for their unwavering support and countless drives to rehearsals!
